About Us!
We are a small, family owned business in the backwoods of Minnesota, near Red Wing, by the great Mississippi . This endeavor is something we’ve dreamed about for years. As we look to the future, we’d like to “retire” from our day to day jobs, but still keep busy doing something we love. That is why Backwoods Custom Framing was created.
As our business is small, we can keep our prices low, so everyday people, like us, can afford to have beautifully framed art in their homes. Everyone we talk to seems to have a print laying around, that they just couldn’t justify the hundreds of dollars it takes to professionally frame with the “big guys”. Let us show you how you can have a beautiful picture, and not break the budget.
It’s been great fun for us to take a “ho-hum” print, and make it look like a million bucks, as well as enhance an already great print with the best design to showcase it. You’d be amazed at how the right mat and frame can enhance your favorite picture or photo.
We have recently added laser engraving to our business. We can now create personalized gift ware in wood, glass, acrylic, marble, granite...just about any medium. We also offer trophies and awards for your next company banquet. We have the ability to transfer any photo onto any of the above materials. More examples forthcoming!
